CAMPBELL RIVER AREA FISHING

Campbell River is famous for its salmon fishing which is great year round, but especially exciting June-October.  During these months Campbell River's Discovery Passage sees millions of salmon pass thru on their way to their spawning grounds in the Fraser, Columbia and southern rivers.  Fishing and weather are at its prime! This is also the best time of year to see Orcas and the famous super pods of pacific white sided dolphins.

WEST SIDE OF VANCOUVER ISLAND ; Gold River, Nootka Sound 

The protected waters of Nootka Sound keep fisherman coming back year after year because of the abundance of salmon returning to this area each summer.  For the more adventurous, the offshore fishery provides the ultimate west coast experience with its rugged landscape, remoteness, beautiful scenery and absolutely incredible salmon fishing.  The halibut fishing off these outer reefs is some of the best on Vancouver Island!
